Diving Operations at Lighterage Quay

Notice is hereby given that diving operations will be undertaken adjacent to the flood gates at Lighterage Quay, Newham on the following dates:

16th to 25th May 2012

The traffic signal lights will be displayed indicating diving operations are underway. In addition a safety boat displaying International Code Flag ‘A’ will be in attendance.

Mariners are advised to navigate with caution in the vicinity of Lighterage Quay and observe the light signals.  Clearance must be obtained before attempting to navigate through the barrier. Clearance can be obtained by   contacting the safety boat on Channel 12 VHF Call sign ‘TMS Divers’ or the harbour office.

Notice No. 1 of 2012

 Installation of Pontoons at Exchequer Quay

Notice is hereby given that a system of pontoons and an access gangway have been installed at Exchequer Quay Penryn. The maximum extent of the pontoon system is 15m from the Eastern end of Exchequer Quay. 

Mariners should exercise caution when navigating in close proximity to these pontoons

 NOTICE NO. 1 of 2012

 PORT OF TRURO

 Construction work at Lighterage Quay

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that civil engineering work has commenced at Lighterage Quay, Newham, Truro. The work will continue for approximately 3 months.

During the work there will be temporary obstructions in the navigation channel adjacent to Lighterage Quay. Any obstructions will be marked by yellow flashing lights at night.

Mariners must keep a sharp look out and navigate with caution in the vicinity of Lighterage Quay until construction work is complete.

Marine civil engineering contractors engaged in operations that affect the navigation channel will keep a listening watch on Channel 12 VHF.
